Saintes - Sat 10.07.10

Postby Jim Sexton » Wed Jul 07, 2010 8:00 pm

Birds went today for a Saturday liberation convoyed by Northern Classic. 7 members sent 9 birds - not a lot, but some old pros amongst them & good money to be won - Forecast is unbroken sunshine & very light winds up France, Fog in channel, then clear up england with a sw wind - 600 miles to shortest flying lofts but some help & if fog doesn't spoil it, could even be a day bird - that would be something.
Good luck to all sending

Good luck Jim! Hope you and Dave get one through.

Best of luck to all the hardy souls who have sent! Lets hope you all get one and really put the North East on the map!

Birds liberated at 06.00 in no wind - light and variable in France turning to SW up England - Only problem will be the heat
Good luck all - looking at weather could be possibility of a day bird
